Ezetimibe: Adjunctive therapy to diet for reduction of elevated total cholesterol, LDL, and apolipoprotein in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia;

Dosage and Administration:

Adults and children over 10 yr: 10 mg once daily.

Side Effects:

• CNS: Fatigue; headache; dizziness.
• EENT: Sinusitis; pharyngitis.
• GI: Diarrhea; abdominal pain.
• RESP: Coughing; upper respiratory tract infection. 
• OTHER: Back pain; arthralgia; viral infection; myalgia; chest pain.
